Bertil Vallien’s glass sculpture “Passport Blue” fascinates with its mythological expressions. The boat is sand cast with a symbolic traveler. The sculpture is created by hand, which gives a unique feeling. “Passport Blue” belongs to Bertil’s famous “Boat” series. A craft that navigates the airspace with a passenger on its way to an unknown location. Foundation of hot-pressed iron. Hand-painted details that are placed in the heated 1200° hot glass. A magnificent work!
